about

Snacks Volume 2 is the 3rd full length release from Main Course, and collects the all our recent Snacks™ downloads together for an all you can eat smorgasbord of tuneage. Wow, never thought we'd use smorgasbord in a press release. Let us take a moment to outline your choices tonight.

G-Buck & Happy Colors: Miami meets Philadelphia. 'worldwide' takeover plan commences. This has been one of our most popular tracks thus far. Dare we say Tropical Bass? We Do. Next up, Label bro Bot and Owsla's David Heartbreak come together for the immense 'Ben Hur', which is set to conquer dancefloors and festival stages though out all the land. The UK's Kayper drops in with a bottle of wine and the outstanding 'Out My Mind' which debuted via Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1 and seems primed for heavy rotation. Cratesz, t talented young producer from Southern California brings 'Danger' is a beastly headnodder of a track with a stern warning from our favorite chemistry teacher. Run the Trap, cue the sirens, and bring the noise! 'Bowser' from LA's Wood Holly caught our ears instantly, and shook our brains, subsequently. File under ridiculous bass. Early supports from Dirybirders Worthy & Kill Frenzy. Mad Decent / Mixmash’s future superstar Juyen Sebulba is back with another release on Main Course, this time combining with Pass The 40 on the spastik attack track Blitzkrieg. The stutter stabs are simple, yet hypnotic while the track runs wild like a gatling gun in the club. #CERTIFIED. Wuki returns to the Main Course table after the successes of 'Same Damn Sound' from Vol 1 with 'Acha', A festival ready peak-time pogo bouncer, with a twist. Italian cuzzo's 2D Noize return with 'Machine', an industrial techno whirlwind with big room Terminator 2: Judgement Day sensibilities. And we close out the compilation with 2 choice house numbers, from DC's Will Eastman, and Alaska's Latoya Waxson. 'Nikkei' from Will is a deep and brooding groover of a track that sounds equally at home early in a club set, or at 4am in dark warehouse. Close your eyes and lose it. Latoya (formerly Curtis Vodka) provides the funkiest social commentary with 'The Rent Is Too Damn High' – classic, classy masterful house music. We'll be back shortly to take your orders.
